Your card is yours, and so is the responsibility for what's on it.
Don't pretend to be anyone else, and don't use XID to trick or hurt people.
Your card stays online even if you stop paying: it becomes a Free card.
We can remove a card that breaks these rules, and we'll tell you why.
Dashed boxes are details still to be filled in.
These terms are the agreement between you and XID when you publish an XID card. By tapping Log in with Telegram to publish, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't publish a card.
01Who we are
XID (also called Xtra ID) is a digital contact card service at xid.sh, run by legal name of XID's operator (not filled in yet), postal address (not filled in yet). In these terms, "XID", "we" and "us" mean that operator, and "you" means the person who publishes a card.
02Who can use XID
You must be 18 or over to publish a card.
You need a Telegram account to log in. Telegram's own terms cover that account.
If you publish a card for a business, you must be allowed to act for it.
03Your account
Your XID account is your Telegram account. Whoever controls it can change your card, so keep it safe and don't share it.
If you lose your Telegram account, email email address (not filled in yet). We'll move your card to your new Telegram account once we're sure it's you.
For now, each account has one card.
04Your card and what's on it
Your card belongs to you: your words, photos and details.
By publishing it, you let us store it, copy it, resize your photos and show your card to anyone who opens it. That includes the contact file people save, the preview apps show when your link is shared, your QR code and, if you order one, a printed card. This permission ends when you delete your card, except for copies people have already saved or shared.
We won't use your card to advertise XID without asking you first.
You're responsible for what's on your card. It must be true and yours to share. If your photo shows other people, ask them first.
If you add people to your contact book yourself, add only details they'd expect you to keep.
05Your web address
Your web address, such as aung.xid.sh, is yours to use while your card exists. Some words are reserved and can't be used.
We can change or take back an address that pretends to be someone else, uses a name or brand you have no right to, or breaks these terms.
You can't sell or rent your address to anyone.
06Rules
When you use XID, don't:
pretend to be another person, a company, a bank or wallet, a phone company or a government office, or suggest you work for one when you don't
use your card to trick people, to collect passwords, PINs or money, or to send people to scams
publish someone else's private details or photos without their permission
put anything on your card that's illegal, sexual, violent or hateful, or that bullies or threatens anyone
use words, photos or logos you don't have the right to use
send spam, including through the form visitors use to share their details
collect cards or phone numbers from XID in bulk, by hand or with software
try to break, overload or get around XID's security, or reach data that isn't yours
07Reports and removal
If you see a card that breaks these rules, tap "Report this card" on the back of the card, or email email address (not filled in yet) with its web address and what's wrong.
If a card breaks these rules, we can hide it, change its web address or delete it. We'll tell the owner why through the XID bot, unless the law stops us or the card is part of a scam that's still going on.
If you think we got it wrong, tap "Ask for a review" in our message and we'll look again.
08Free and Premium
Every new card gets Premium free for its first 30 days.
After that, you can pay for Premium or keep your card as a Free card at no cost.
Free cards use XID's Free design, show a small "Made with XID" badge and may show XID's own promotions. We never put other companies' ads on your card.
Premium lasts for the time you paid for. What it includes and what it costs are shown before you pay. We'll give at least 30 days' notice before a price goes up, and a change never affects time you've already paid for.
When Premium ends, your card keeps its Premium look for 7 more days, then becomes a Free card. It never goes offline because you stopped paying.
We'll remind you through the XID bot before Premium ends, and when your card becomes a Free card.
09Paying and refunds
Premium payments aren't open yet. When they are, this is how they work.
You pay in your own wallet app by scanning XID's payment QR code. Your wallet company handles the payment under its own terms.
You upload your payment slip. Premium starts once the payment has been checked.
If a slip turns out to be false, edited or already used, or the payment is reversed, we can remove the Premium it unlocked.
If you paid twice, or paid and didn't get Premium, tell us within 30 days and we'll fix it or refund you. Otherwise, payments can't be refunded.
If we remove a paid feature, or close your account for a reason that isn't your fault, we'll refund the Premium time you haven't used.
10Keeping your card online
We work to keep every card online, but we can't promise XID will never be down or never make a mistake. We may change, add or remove features.
If XID ever closes, we'll tell you through the XID bot at least 60 days before, and send you a copy of your card's details if you ask.
11QR codes and NFC tags
Your QR codes and NFC tags point to a permanent XID link, so they keep working when you change your web address. If you delete your card, they stop showing it.
12Our name and designs
The XID name and logo, the card designs and XID's software belong to us or to those who license them to us. You can use them only as part of your XID card. Don't remove the "Made with XID" badge from a Free card, and don't copy our designs for another product.
13What we're not responsible for
XID is provided as it is. We're not responsible for:
what card owners put on their cards
what people do with details they save from a card or that you share with them
other apps and websites that cards link to, such as Telegram, Viber or Facebook
losses nobody could have expected, such as lost business or profit
If we are responsible for a loss, the most we'll pay is what you paid us in the 12 months before it happened.
Nothing in these terms limits responsibility that the law doesn't allow us to limit, or takes away rights that your own country's consumer laws give you.
14Stopping and closing accounts
You can stop using XID at any time and ask us to delete your card, as the Privacy policy explains.
We can suspend or close an account that seriously or repeatedly breaks these terms, or when the law requires it.
15Changes to these terms
If we change these terms in a way that matters, we'll tell you through the XID bot at least 14 days before the change applies. If you keep using XID after that, the new terms apply. If you don't agree, you can delete your card.
16Law, disputes and language
These terms are governed by the laws of Myanmar.
If you have a problem with XID, please contact us first. We'll try to put it right within 30 days. If we can't agree, the courts of Yangon, Myanmar will decide.
These terms are written in English. If a translation says something different, the English version applies.
